My Story
The Beginning
I always liked everything related to electronics since a very young age. I started with video games as a first contact with software, but I was very curious as time goes about the "how's" and "why's" of computers and everything related to them.
First Steps
I started my career in computer science with my cegep studies. I like the subject very much because it allows us to do very useful and creative solutions for almost all domains.
Growing Passion
Further on, I started my career as a Web and Software Developer. As time went on, I caught interests about sharing my passion about computer science. This lead into me becoming a teaching assistant for practical lectures (coding, homework) and grading during my studies.
Today's Vocation
As of today for my vocation, I became a full time teaching Professor in Computer Science and a researcher (Ph.D. Candidate). On the side, I continue to touch base with software development and architecture design of applications (Web and Mobile) with startups management as a CEO and/or CTO.
Research Journey
My research journey is focused on the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am currently working on my Ph.D. in Computer Science at École de Technologie Supérieure (ÉTS) in Montreal, Canada. My research interests include Applied Machine Learning, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Quality Assurance, Software Engineering, and Networking.
